Artisans Hand is managed by a five-member board of directors, including jewelers Bill Butler and Lochlin Smith; silk and chenille scarf maker Maggie Neale; and potters Leslie Koehler and Lucinda Rochester Smith. The board meets once a month to discuss gallery business, plan gallery activities, and jury prospective exhibitors. Each board member has a specific responsibility (personnel, finance, maintenance, or display) and all work shifts at the sales desk.
